The upcoming Super Mario Bros. animated movie was created by Illumination, the same studio that has worked on the Minions franchise and many other animated features. Not surprisingly, Illumination is leveraging their cast of characters to help promote Mario’s next feature film.
The spot above shows a bounty of popular Illumination characters as they gear up for the Super Mario Bros. movie. We get to see a variety of Minions characters, including Gru, along with characters from the Sing franchise, The Secret Life of Pets and more.
