Nintendo Spain lists Splatoon 3's 'Side Order' DLC as due out 2024

When Nintendo announced that Splatoon 3 was getting an Expansion Pass, they revealed that it would include two waves. The first wave is available right now, which introduced the classic Inkopolis Plaza from Splatoon. Nintendo also teased content called ‘Side Order’ as Wave 2, but without any other details.

Following that initial reveal, Nintendo Spain has shared a slight update on the Expansion Pass. While we still don’t have any specifics on what Side Order will include, a promotional video Nintendo shared mentioned that this Wave 2 content would arrive sometime in 2024.

This is the only mention we’ve seen of Wave 2 content dropping next year, and there’s just something about it that seems iffy. Why Nintendo Spain would be the only branch of Nintendo to share this tidbit is quite odd, which has many hoping its a mistake. Unfortunately, Nintendo is yet to comment on the matter, so hopefully they clear things up in the near future.
