Pokémon Co. releasing Pikachu Bluetooth speaker

You’d think Pokémon Co. has exhausted every possible merch opportunity for the Pokémon brand by this point, but think again! There’s a lot more the company can do with their characters, and next up is a pivot to the audio side of things.

Pokémon Co. has revealed that an official Pikachu Bluetooth speaker is on the way to Japan, and it’s priced at roughly $60. This speaker is waterproof and will offer up 8 hours of play on a single charge.

As you might have guessed, there’s no word on an official release outside of Japan at this time. Hopefully we see this speaker pop up on the Pokémon Center website in the near future, but for now you can find a few more pics through this link.
