Hello Kitty and Friends: Happiness Parade was originally set to launch on Switch tomorrow, April 13th, 2023. With just hours to go, publisher Rogue Games has announced that the title is no longer launching as planned. Even worse, no new release date was given.

According to the delay announcement, Hello Kitty and Friends: Happiness Parade was delayed because, “Hello Kitty needs just a bit more time to straighten her bow and ensure the highest level of happiness is delivered to Nintendo fans.” Along with that, the announcement said that a new release date will be shared soon.

In Hello Kitty and Friends: Happiness Parade you’ll join Hello Kitty and two friends on a delightful music tour as they spread happiness to everyone. Along the way they’ll discover new friends to join their musical parades. However, jealous of Hello Kitty’s growing fanbase, Kuromi will stop at nothing to end the music, dispatching goons and laying traps to stop the momentum.

Ah, nice to see Hello Kitty get the Americanized Kirby treatment here.
