eastasiasoft details 14 titles lined up for Switch release in a Spring 2023 showcase

Today, independent developer and publisher Eastasiasoft Limited premiered a “Late Spring 2023 Showcase” that covers 17 indie titles scheduled for release in May, June and the coming months on Switch. This presentation continues the previous showcase format and once again consolidates news on multiple projects for convenient reference in the months ahead.

Take the role of the brutal, pretty and foul-mouthed heroine Valeria as she journeys through a land ravaged by monster hordes! Valeria the Pagan Priestess is a dark fantasy action platformer with fluid hack-and-slash combat and RPG elements. Explore a vast overworld map, rolling back the fog of war to discover dozens of unique locations, from towns and caravans to carefully crafted side-scrolling stages. Valeria will need to traverse deserts, caverns, acid pools and other hazardous landscapes as she collects powerful weapons and artifacts. In first-person adventure Under the Warehouse, you take the role of a worker who receives a phone call and a request for help.

Get ready for a fantastically frantic side-scrolling run ‘n’ gun in Robolt! Presented in blazing fast pixel art style, Robolt casts you as a little robot that can rapidly fire laser bolts as they sprint along. Featuring 16 levels across 4 different worlds, stages are packed with enemies that can be quickly dismantled by your projectiles or by hopping on their heads, but beware of the big bosses at the end of each world!

Levels are uniquely themed for the world they’re set in. Watch out for spike-filled pitfalls and other environmental hazards as you run. Wall jump to reach higher platforms! Collect computer chips to spend like currency on upgrades and increase your robot’s maximum health, improve jumping and double-jump capabilities, or unlock weapons and raise damage output. Then use the level select screen to replay cleared zones and improve your scores!
