Minecraft Legends reaches 3 million players

Minecraft Legends, the latest Minecraft spin-off, saw release across all platforms on April 18th, 2023. Just a couple of weeks later, we’ve got a sales update that certainly indicates a warm reception for the title.

Mojang has taken to Twitter to confirm that 3 million players have jumped in on Minecraft Legends. We can’t say the game has hit 3 million units sold, as the title debuted on Game Pass alongside other platforms. Anyone accessing the game through Game Pass isn’t paying to purchase the title, so actual units sold remains a mystery for now.
