Now that the Super Mario Bros. Movie is available to watch at home (by digital purchase), people can really pick through the movie with a fine-toothed comb to see all the secrets its hiding. One perfect example of that is a discover in the background of a scene, and it’s very much blink-and-you’ll-miss-it.
As you can see in the still above, during the Bowser’s party scene, there’s a quick moment where a Shy Guy actually tasks his mask off. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see what his face looks like, but we do get to see the reactions of all the other minions around him.
