A new trailer for Marko: Beyond Brave, the 2D hand-drawn animated metroidvania set in a Slavic fairytale world, is now available. This trailer features a ton of gameplay from the title, and you can give it a watch above.

Marko: Beyond Brave is a captivating action platforming game in which players can explore beautifully designed areas, encounter mythical creatures, and battle terrifying foes. The game tells a truly epic story filled with rich characters, intricate relationships, and unexpected plot twists set in an absolutely huge world.

Engage in a content-rich adventure filled with unique skills and enemies, as you navigate a non-linear map, solve puzzles, discover hidden treasures, and utilize a range of abilities to overcome epic challenges and defeat mighty bosses.

Mixing themes found in Hollow Knight, Rayman Legends, and Castlevania, Marko: Beyond Brave depicts the fairy tales of Slavic culture in a cartoony graphical style à la Disney from the 80-90’s.

The title takes between 24-30 hours to complete, featuring multiple endings and side quests. The soundtrack of the game contains real-time orchestra music based in Balkan and Slavic musical traditions.

Upon release, the game will be available in multiple languages including English, Spanish, German, French, Bulgarian, Russian, Serbian, Croatian, Ukrainian, Polish, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Italian.

Marko: Beyond Brave, originally funded on Kickstarter, is planned to be available on Switch in early 2024.
