Rain World: Downpour Comes to Switch July 11th, 2023

Akupara Games and developer Videocult proudly announced today that the DLC Rain World: Downpour is launching on the Switch July 11th! Initially released for PC earlier this January, Downpour expands the experience for console players, who will have the opportunity to dive right in, test their might, and survive the treacherous cycles of Rain World. The DLC implements fully fleshed-out game modes and a built-in content manager allowing players the freedom to control how they truly want to traverse Rain World.

In Rain World, you are a nomadic slugcat, both predator and prey in a broken ecosystem. Grab your spear and brave the industrial wastes, hunting enough food to survive, but be wary– other, bigger creatures have the same plan… and slugcats look delicious.

The Downpour DLC includes hundreds of new maps across ten new regions, five new playable characters with unique storylines and endings, two new game modes, and local co-op.
