Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara is coming on July 27th for Switch. As was previously done with Summer in Mara, the ‘3-Dev’ platformer adventure launch has been timed for the match between the summer season and the game’s vibes.

Koa and Napopo will sail again through a new archipelago of islands in Mara to reclaim a treasure stolen by a group of chaotic and charismatic pirates. This journey features more action than the last installment, colorful worlds of all kinds, new friends and will reunite us with some of Summer in Mara’s most beloved characters.

Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara has influences from Super Mario 3D World and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, but it’s the previous successes of Chibig (Summer in Mara) and Talpa Games and Undercoders (Mail Mole), which have laid the solid foundations for this tribute to classic platform games.

The multiplatform digital release will allow the teams to start delivering the rewards of the successful Kickstarter campaign that took place last May and managed to raise $300K. Meanwhile, the physical editions distributed by Tesura Games (Europe) and Piiki (Asia) will arrive between August and September of this year and the pre-orders are now available.
