Mortal Kombat 2 movie finds actors for Shao Kahn, Sindel and more

The cast for Mortal Kombat 2 continues to grow, as another round of actors has been scooped up for some major characters.
According to Deadline, Martyn Ford (Red Sonja), Desmond Chiam (Joy Ride), Ana Thu Nguyen (Suka) and Damon Herriman (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) have all signed on to the follow-up. Ford will play Shao Kahn, Chiam takes on Edenian King Jerrod, Nguyen will be Queen Sindel and Herriman is set to tackle Quan Chi.
As previous detailed, Simon McQuoid has returned to direct from a script by Jeremy Slater. Producers are Atomic Monster’s James Wan and Michael Clear, Broken Road Productions’ Todd Garner, McQuoid, and E. Bennett Walsh.
