Atelier developer Gust says other remakes are possible
Brewing up some more remakes
Atelier Marie Remake: Alchemist of Salburg is coming to Switch on July 12th, 2023, and it’s the latest title in the Atelier franchise to get a remake. It seems it won’t be the last, if develoepr Gust has anything to do with it.
In an interview with Siliconera, Gust’s Junzo Hosoi was asked about the possibility of more Atelier game remakes. While he didn’t get into specifics about which titles could get remade, it does seem there’s a clear interest to tackle such projects.
It is possible. One of our goals is to have the entire Atelier series, starting with Atelier Marie, available in the digital stores.
