3DS fan community announces Summer of StreetPass 2023 events

3DS fan community StreetPassLove is announcing sponsored meetup events, merch giveaways, a U.S. tour roadtrip, and a Mario Kart 7 online tournament on Friday June 16th over on Twitter. Fans of the 3DS are encouraged to bring their handheld on vacation this year and join the summer fun by tagging other local 3DS users via StreetPass. This is a worldwide social event that anybody can participate in for free.

Major conventions such as TooManyGames, FAN EXPO, and TwitchCon are officially hosting dedicated lounge areas for StreetPass meetups that badge holders can join for free.

Official shirts are being made to help 3DS users find each other in public. The 1st place winner of the online Mario Kart 7 tournament (being hosted June 21st @ 5pm EST) is being given the first set of free merch before it goes up for sale.

StreetPassLove is going on tour this Summer across the United States to meetup with fans and give out free StreetPass tags to 3DS users along the way. Both the top and bottom half are covered so anybody can get tagged by the five 3DS systems on board.
