SUNSOFT hoping to bring 3 Famicom games to Switch via crowdfunding

SUNSOFT has announced that they’re preparing a Campfire crowdfunding campaign in order to bring 3 of their classic Famicom games to the Switch. The company is looking to do this to celebrate the Famicom’s 40th anniversary, and the campaign will run July 14th to August 31st, 2023.
The titles in the lineup are as follows:
- Kanshaku Tamanage Kantarou no Toukaidou Gojuusan-tsugi (July 3, 1986)
- The Wing of Madoola (December 18, 1986)
- Ripple Island (January 23, 1988)
SUNSOFT is also considering a SUNSOFT gold cartridge, which is something they wanted to do in the Famicom days but couldn’t make it happen. This cartridge would only be considered if the initial funding goal was hit.
