Every franchise has its standout entry, and that would definitely be the Atelier Ryza series in the case of the long line of Atelier games. The first Atelier Ryza title became a breakout hit, and subsequent releases in the series have continued to bring in success.
Koei Tecmo has revealed that the Atelier Ryza run of games have reached 2 million units shipped worldwide. That figure reflects the combined totals of Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout, Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy, and Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key.
The latest check-in on the Atelier Ryza series showed us that the trio of games had moved 1.6 million units worldwide, and that was back in March 2023. A quick number crunch shows us that an additional 400,000 units have shipped out since then.
