NieR:Automata Ver1.1a anime 'Black Box' light releasing in Japan

The next piece of NieR:Automata merch for Japan has been revealed, and this one features a design from the NieR:Automata Ver1.1a anime.
Square Enix has revealed a NieR:Automata Ver1.1a anime ‘Black Box,’ which is set to release in Japan on Oct. 31st, 2023. In NieR:Automata, each YoRHa unit is equipped with a “black box”, an item created by reusing the core of a machine lifeform. It could be said that the consciousnesses of YoRHa units and machine lifeforms share the same structure. These black boxes were installed after determining that it would be inhumane to install standard AI in androids that are ultimately destined for disposal.
The real-life version of these black boxes are meant to be a decorative room light, as you can see from the image above. Each black box measures 75 x 75 x 75 millimeters and is priced at $28.95. The black box uses an LED light, so it should last a considerable amount of time.
