Those who’ve seen the Pikmin 4 trailers or played the demo have no doubt seen the GBA SP front-and-center in the game. Nintendo loves to pay tribute to their gaming history with nods in various titles, and it’s always fun to see where the next tribute will pop up.
Nintendo seems especially fond of the GBA SP in Pikmin 4, as they no doubt know it’ll catch the attention of Pikmin fans and older Nintendo gamers as well. That’s why the latest billboard ad to pop up for the game in Japan puts the GBA SP front-and-center.
