Bandai Namco shares new insight into the revamps for Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster
A better, smoother experience
Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster will release on Switch later this year on September 14th, 2023. Ahead of that release, publisher Bandai Namco has shared some new details on the changes and tweaks they’ve made to the titles for this collection.
While both titles will largely remain the same as their original versions, Bandai Namco has added a few quality of life improvements and small tweaks to make for a better experience over all. The fresh features and additions are as follows:
- redrawn backgrounds
- revamped character graphics
- reworked battle UI
- menu screen refresh
- Magnus screen layout adjusted
- sorting function added
- navigation has been made easier
In Baten Kaitos I & II HD, two JRPG classics return; Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and Baten Kaitos Origins. This time around, you can experience these GameCube RPGs with improved graphics and new features to aid game progression.
