Nintendo's Famicom 40th anniversary website is well worth a virtual visit

The Famicom officially turned 40 on July 15th, 2023, and Nintendo had previously mentioned that they planned to celebrate the anniversary in a number of ways. One such way is a website dedicated to the Famicom itself, and it’s chock-full of fun tidbits.

For older gamers, the Famicom 40th anniversary website will be a trip down memory lane. The website is filled to the brim with classic Famicom games, including both first and third party offerings. From Mario to Mega Man, Dragon Quest to Donkey Kong, plenty of the amazing Famicom classics are represented.

The website includes a bunch of high-res photos of the Famicom hardware, artwork for a variety of games, plenty of sprites from classic games, and so much more.
