Ed Boon and Kelly Hu talk Mortal Kombat 1 characters, including Li Mei and more

At San Diego Comic-Con 2023, NetherRealm’s Ed Boon and actress Kelly Hu join GameSpot to discuss Li Mei, and the addition of Homelander, Omni-Man, and Peacemaker in the upcoming Kombat Pack in Mortal Kombat 1. This will be the first time Li Mei is playable in the Mortal Kombat franchise.

Li Mei made her debut in the Mortal Kombat franchise back with Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance back in 2002. Being an Outworlder, Li Mei possesses an array of magical abilities, such as being able to shoot fireballs at her opponents. Having been trained by Shujinko and Master Bo’ Rai Cho, Li Mei has become a very established and seasoned warrior in the art of kombat.
