Back on July 11th, 2023, Square Enix shared the first part of a video series to commemorate Final Fantasy’s 35th Anniversary. The video featured a special roundtable with the original developers of Final Fantasy, all of which had plenty of great stories to share about the series’ inception and growth over the year.
Today, the second part of that developer roundtable has been shared, and it brings us another 30+ minutes of insight into the long-running RPG franchise. Once again, Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, Pixel artist Kazuko Shibuya, and Brand Manager Yoshinori Kitase talk about secret stories behind the creation of Final Fantasy.
In particular, this installment shares the final part of the history of Final Fantasy leading to the Pixel Remaster series.
