Pokémon Co. announces Pokémon Fantasy Team

Pokémon Co. has introduced Pokémon Fantasy Team, where Trainers build Pokémon TCG and Pokémon VGC teams based on eligible Pokémon TCG cards and Pokémon at the 2023 Pokémon World Championships. Fantasy Team is a fun at-home activity in which Trainers located in the United States for a chance to win amazing prizes!

The first 10,000 participants who create a team will receive a prize. The better your team does, the more prizes you can earn!

Grand Prize: The overall top Fantasy Team participant from both Pokémon TCG and VGC will receive a large Spheal plush in addition to all their previous prizes!

Top 100 Winners:

The top 100 Fantasy Team participants from both Pokémon TCG and VGC will receive an Umbreon Sitting Cuties plush and Booster Display Box of Scarlet & Violet—Obsidian Flames!

First registrants:

The first 10,000 registrants to create a team in either category will receive a code for a Stretchy Form Tatsugiri that can be redeemed in their Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet video game.

HOW TO PLAY

Register

Log in with your PTC account and agree to the Fantasy Team Terms and Conditions to get started. Accept the Fantasy Team Terms & Conditions before building your teams.

Build Teams

Choose the Pokémon you want to include on your Pokémon TCG and VGC teams. These Pokémon will be selected from a curated list with pre-defined categories.

Check Your Standings

Scores are determined by the number of appearances and the placement among the Top 8 teams. Remember to check back after the event to see how your teams performed.

Get Prizes

If you finish among the top 100 competitors in either category, you will receive additional prizes emailed to the address registered to your PTC account. You only need to complete one team to be eligible, but you can complete two teams to increase your chances of winning. If you’re a winner, you need to enter your address in PTC by August 31, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. PDT in order to receive physical prizing. If no valid US address is present in your PTC account at that time, you forfeit your physical prizing. These prizes will be mailed out starting in September.
