Dragon Quest X Online version 7.0 expansion announced; Wii U and 3DS versions to end service
The quest continues and comes to a close at the same time
It’s good news/bad news for Dragon Quest X Online fans, and we’ll start with the good news first.
Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest X Online is getting updated to Version 7.0 sometime in 2024. This version expansion is called Dragon Quest X Online: The Door to the Future and the Sleeping Girl, and we’ll learn more about what it has to offer when Version 6.0 comes to a close.
Speaking of coming to a close, Square Enix has also announced that the Wii U and 3DS versions of Dragon Quest X Online are going to see their service end. Players will have until March 20th, 2024 to enjoy the game on those platforms, and then they’ll have to migrate to another platform (Switch, PS4, PC).
