Vampire Survivors original launched for PC back in October 2022, and it’s taken 10 long months for the game to come to Switch. We’ve seen plenty of games arrive on other platforms only to take months, if not years to arrive on Switch, yet somehow that lapse in time doesn’t seem to impact sales negatively at all. Vampire Survivors is the latest proof of that.

The official Vampire Survivors X account shared a message stating that the game has reached #1 on the Switch eShop charts in the United States, United Kingdom and Japan. Even with nearly a year between the game’s original launch and Switch arrival, plenty of Switch owners were happy to grab the game day one.

What we don’t get is an actual sales number, as Nintendo doesn’t allow developers to share those stats. That said, when Vampire Survivors manages to top games like Pikmin 4 and Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you know that thousands of people around the world are picking this one up.
