Five years into the Switch’s lifespan and the system is still the one to beat. Things are going strong for Nintendo in 2022, and that’s thanks to a wave of momentum the Switch has been riding since 2021 closed out.

Media Create has released stats on how the Switch did in both South Korea and Taiwan for 2021, and not surprisingly, the Switch was the #1 hardware in both regions for the year. It’s also the platform that saw the most software sales, which certainly makes sense! You can see the specific numbers for South Korea and Taiwan below.
