Paranormasight dev continues to push for a sequel
Scaring up sequel support
Back in March of this year, PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo director/writer Takaya Ishiyama shared his hopes for the new IP to become a series. Nearly 6 months later, Ishiyama is trying hard to make a sequel happen.
In a new interview with Famitsu, Ishiyama said that Square Enix has still not given the green light to a sequel. It’s not up to the staff whether a sequel gets the go-ahead or not, but Ishiyama did mention that the devs are doing their best to make one happen. If a follow-up does get approved, Ishiyama stated that some characters from the original game might return for the sequel.
For those who don’t know, PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo tasks you with attempting to solve the mysteries of the seven curses. Unravel the hopes, dreams and fears of a variety of unique characters who find themselves in the grip of these deadly curses, and lead the story to its conclusion by your own hand.
You can grab PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo on Switch right now for just $20.
