In the first 24 hours following its release, Sea of Stars managed to move a whopping 100k units. That 100k was units sold, to be specific, as the game is also available on services like Game Pass. Today, one week after the game launched, a new sales milestone has been achieved.

Developer Sabotage Studio has announced that in just 7 days, Sea of Stars has already sold over 250k units worldwide. Once again, that’s the figure for people actually spending money to own the game, so it seems there’s quite a dedicated audience out there!

According to Sabotage Studio, 250k was the total amount of units sold the company was hoping to reach after the game’s first year on the market. To see the game hit that milestone in just the first week is absolutely staggering.
