The complete roster for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1 has found its way online. As reported by VGC and MP1st.

The roster, including kameos, was posted online (here) by Reddit user rearisen. In addition to revealing the lineup, rearisen shared footage from the Nintendo Switch version of the game. This footage indicated that the game might suffer from screen tearing issues during its cutscenes.

It’s essential to note that Mortal Kombat 1 has not been officially released yet. This means that the observed issues could very well be addressed in a day 1 patch or in subsequent updates from the developers. We can only wait and see. The game is scheduled to launch on September 14th, 2023.

The Switch version of MK11 was garbage even after all the updates and patches, so I am not surprised. They really needed a porting team that could do the job instead of still handing it off to one that had continuously failed to deliver.

WB should just give us Switch owners a kick butt port of MK9 or MKX instead. It would run great and make me much happier than getting a seriously gimped port of MK1.
