Mortal Kombat 1 arrived on Switch earlier this week, and we shared the launch trailer to go along with that announcement. While many watched the trailer and thought it was business as usual, some eagle-eyed fans caught a rather funny goof hiding in the trailer’s corner.

If you fast-forward to the 1:52 mark and keep your eyes peeled on the bottom right-hand corner, you’ll spot a Steam achievement that clearly shouldn’t be there. This is a goof on numerous levels, as the Switch version certainly doesn’t have Steam achievements, and even more important, those interested in Mortal Kombat 1 on Switch probably want to see Switch gameplay!

The trailer is still live on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel, so news of the mistake clearly hasn’t made it to them. While this is just a minor, silly mistake in the grand scheme of things, it gets added to the pile of complaints about Mortal Kombat 1 on Switch. It seems from the game itself all the way down to the trailer, some of the team that handled MK1 on Switch don’t seem to have much love for the project.

UPDATE: The trailer has since been removed.

Minor, silly mistake in the grand scheme of things? Yeah, just a little false advertising.
