Whitethorn Games — publisher of inclusive, accessible, low-stress games including: Calico, Lake, and Wytchwood — has partnered with Chorus Worldwide, to publish the relaxing floral puzzle game Botany Manor in Japan. Chorus Worldwide will also showcase a demo for Botany Manor this week during the Tokyo Games Show (TGS) 2023.

Chorus Worldwide was founded in 2014 to break down global barriers for indie games. Comprised of industry veterans, Chorus seeks out and champions innovative teams from around the world.

Taking place at Makuhari Messe from September 21 through 24, TGS 2023 ticket holders are invited to visit booth 09-E67 located in the Indie Game Corner in Hall 9 to check out the demo — shown in Japan for the first time!

The enduring estate of Botany Manor is home to retired botanist Arabella Greene. After a long career, she has amassed a collection of rare, long-forgotten plants that require some research to help them live again. Play as Arabella and explore the stunning historic manor and its grounds to look for clues in her notes, books, posters and items scattered around the residence to determine the correct set of circumstances to help the flora flourish. Interactable items around the property that can be turned and flipped will provide information to help you solve each gardening puzzle. Unlock new seeds, discover how to grow the plants and uncover their mysterious qualities.
