Fortnite's next Soundwave Series event to spotlight Brazilian rapper Emicida

Epic has revealed that the next artist to be featured in Fortnite’s Soundwave Series will be Brazilian rapper, Emicida. This superstar will have a show airing in Fortnite starting April 29th, 2022 at 6 PM ET, and it’ll be around for a 72-hour stretch following.

Each show in the Soundwave Series takes place in its own interactive experience, including Emicida’s show. Made by creators BertBuilds, Paradox Builds, and Zen Creative, Emicida’s interactive experience is inspired by his life’s journey and how it influenced his music. The setlist, which includes some of Emicida’s biggest hits, tells the story of how he grew up in Jardim Cachoeira in the north of São Paulo, Brazil, and became one of the most popular rappers in Brazil and a successful artist worldwide.

In order to check the show out, you can enter the SOUNDWAVE SERIES: EMICIDA Discover tile (or input the Island code 6929-7613-7801). Players also have the option to watch the show via Picture-in-Picture while playing other Creative experiences, Battle Royale, and more. This option is available during certain times of the event and is accessible through the settings.

Finally, the ‘Keep Going’ Lobby Track and ‘Triumphant’ emote will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop starting Thursday, April 28th, 2022 at 8 PM ET.
