Red Art Games is happy to announce that the upcoming physical release of Brok The InvestiGator on Nintendo Switch is fully playable by blind gamers thanks to its numerous accessibility options. Red Art Games has created the first video game box featuring the game’s title written in braille.

Brok The InvestiGator features the following accessibility options:

  • Fully narrated via quality text-to-speech and audiodescriptions (characters, locations and scenes)
  • Puzzles adapted for blindness
  • All puzzles and fights can be skipped
  • Adapted tutorials
  • Buttons used to repeat the last voice speech and instructions
  • Positional audio for fights
  • No specific device required: play with a controller
  • Additional options: larger fonts and increased contrast (backgrounds and enemies)
  • Compatible with all versions of the game

Switch boxed copies of the Brok The InvestiGator Exclusive Edition published by Red Art Games will release for €39.99 during Q2 of next year. The Brok The InvestiGator Exclusive Edition will be put up for general pre-order on Thursday September 28th at 5 PM CEST on the official Red Art Games online store.

The Brok The InvestiGator Exclusive Edition features an art book, a reversible cover and a double-sided poster. It is only available from redartgames.com. All three versions are available in limited quantities.

Interesting. I wonder if we'll have 'morphing' screens at some point that can change their surface to display (among other things) braille.
