Nintendo NY details Detective Pikachu Returns launch day festivities

Detective Pikachu Returns launches for Switch this Friday, Oct. 6th, 2023. If you happen to live in or around the New York City area and you plan on snagging this game, you might want to do so through Nintendo NY, as it sounds like some fun opportunities will be available.
Nintendo NY has confirmed that those who purchase a copy of Detective Pikachu Returns from their location on launch day will get to take home a special bonus gift. Unfortunately, Nintendo NY hasn’t shared details on what that gift is, but free swag is free swag nonetheless!
Along with that, stopping by Nintendo NY on October 6th between 10AM to 12PM or 5PM to 7PM will give you the chance to meet Detective Pikachu himself! While the detective is usually extremely busy with cases, he’s making some time to meet with fans and pose for a few pictures, so don’t miss out!
