Castlevania: Nocturne came to Netflix just over a week ago, and it met with rave reviews from fans and critics alike. It looks like those fans were quick to swarm the series as well, as its success has already paved the way for a second season of the show.

While we don’t know the release date, Netflix has confirmed that Castlevania: Nocturne is getting a second season. They’ve even shared a teaser trailer to show off some of the work that’s been done on the follow-up season so far, and you can give that a watch above.

Castlevania: Nocturne is led by showrunner Kevin Kolde and Creator/Writer Clive Bradley, and is produced by Project 51 Productions with production services provided by Powerhouse Animation. The show will have 8 episodes that are each roughly 25 minutes long.

Castlevania: Nocturne follows Richter, a descendant of the Belmont family, popularized in the iconic Symphony of Night and Blood of Rondo Castlevania games. This story in particular will tell the story of Richter during the French Revolution.

If it's as boring as the first season I will skip it. The first series wasn't as boring as this one was for me, though that last fourth season came close.
