Last we heard, Super Nintendo World was opening at Universal Studios Hollywood sometime in 2023. If you were doubting Universal would make that date, the latest round of construction pictures shows that things are definitely moving along.

As you can tell from the picture above, Universal’s construction crew has been putting in some serious work with Super Nintendo World. A lot of the backdrop and park scenery is really coming together. In particular, the team is currently moving in a series of animatronic Piranha Plants that’ll be chomping away at visitors from a distance.

You can see that other areas of the park are also coming together, such as the entranceway to the park, as well as Mount Beanpole. If you want to sneak a peek at a few more aerial pics of the park’s progress, you can find more here.
