Sonic Superstars has a day-one update

If you’re planning on snagging Sonic Superstars on launch day, Oct. 17th, you might want to know that there’ll be a day-one update waiting for you. As always, it’s a good idea to apply this update before you start playing in order to get the best experience.
This day-one update brings Sonic Superstars up to Version 1.0.5. We’d love to give you notes on what this patch does, but SEGA hasn’t released any details on what the update does. Should they share those notes in the future, we’ll make sure to add them to this post.
Sonic Superstars is available digitally and physically on Switch for $60. For the diehard fans out there, a Digital Deluxe version is available for $70 and it includes the following goodies:

- Sonic Rabbit Skin
- Mecha Sonic Skin for Battle Mode
- Bonus Main Menu Wallpapers
- Digital Artbook & Mini Original Soundtrack
