Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 physical Switch release is code-in-box
All-Star, no card
We’ve known for awhile that Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 was getting a physical release on Switch, but today we’ve learned a disappointing update. Multiple retailers have updated their listings for the physical release, and now we know it’s not so physical after all.
According to the cover art for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 added to retailers like GameStop, Walmart and Best Buy, the retail release for the game isn’t going to a game card. Unfortunately, it appears this retail release gets you nothing more than a game box, as that box now reads that physical versions require a full game download.
If you’re simply looking to add a game box to your shelves for display purposes, the retail release of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 is right up your alley. If you wanted to get an actual game card, it seems you’re completely out of luck.
