Takara Tomy has released an incredible amount of Pokémon merch over the years, and plenty of it has been unbelievably successful. One of those successful items was the Pikachu Puni Kyun light, so much so that it became quite hard to find soon after launch. Thankfully, another chance is on the way.

Pokémon Co. and Takara Tomy have announced that the Pikachu Puni Kyun light is set to release once again in Japan, and it’s due out sometime in December 2023. This will be a straight reprint of the original light, and it’s priced at $22. For those who don’t know, the Puni Kyun series of lights are cool to the touch, squishy and have three different brightness levels.

Along with the Pikachu reprint comes a Piplup design as well. This has all the same features as the Pikachu version, and the same price tag as well. Best of all, this version is launching in Japan as of today! There’s no doubt this item will eventually make its way to the Pokémon Center website in the future, and we’ll keep you posted once that happens.
