Super Mario Bros. Wonder moves into first place in the UK weekly charts
Mario makes his move
Last week, we saw Spider-Man 2 and Super Mario Bros. Wonder battling it out on the physical software charts for their debuts. The power of the wall-crawler was just too much for Mario and the gang to overcome, pushing Super Mario Bros. Wonder into second place overall. This week, the tables have turned.
While we don’t have the full details yet, we do know that Super Mario Bros. Wonder has taken the #1 position in its second week on the UK software charts. The title is down 55% week-on-week in terms of sales, but that’s actually a smaller drop than you usually see. Spider-Man has fallen to #2 this week, with sales dropping 69% compared to last week.
