Blumhouse has a number of hit movies under their belt, but none of them have had a higher domestic debut than what Five Nights at Freddy’s pulled in over the weekend.

Despite also being available to stream on Peacock day-and-date with the theatrical release, Five Nights at Freddy’s managed to pull in $80 million domestically for its opening weekend, and $130 million worldwide. The film was originally trending towards $78 million for its domestic opening, but now that Sunday has come and gone, we see it settled at $80 million overall.

For a bit more perspective, Five Nights at Freddy’s scored the fifth-best domestic October opening, behind 2019’s Joker ($96.2 million), Taylor Swift: Eras Tour ($92.8M), 2021’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage ($90M), and 2018’s Venom ($80.2M).
