The Five Nights at Freddy’s movie has been a runaway success, and that includes before it even launched. Just a couple weeks before the movie arrived, we learned that it already turned a profit due to licensing deals. That was followed up by a blockbuster opening weekend that saw the movie bring in $130 million worldwide.

With such an incredibly success so far, you can bet that a sequel will most likely be fast-tracked. While not yet officially confirmed, it’s clear the team behind the movie already has some plans lined up for a second outing.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Five Nights at Freddy’s director Emma Tammi was asked about the film moments of the film. Without getting into spoilers, there are some things that took place that left fans wondering what happened, and what could be next. According to Tammi, there are “some loose ends that I think are going to have to come back in a sequel to be tied up.” If that’s not a big hint at a second movie, I don’t know what is!
