Remedy breaks even on Alan Wake Remastered

Two years after it launched for other platforms and one year following its Switch release, Alan Wake Remastered has finally recouped its development and marketing costs.

The latest financial report from developer Remedy shows that Alan Wake Remastered has managed to break even during the third quarter of the company’s current fiscal year. This happened right as Remedy was getting ready to launch Alan Wake II, which arrived on on other platforms just a week back.

Alan Wake Remastered took awhile to come to Switch, and unfortunately, it was in rough shape when it arrived. To Remedy’s credit, they have provided multiple updates for the title that resulted in a much better experience. While it was hard to recommend Alan Wake Remastered at launch, the current version is worth a look. That’s even more true right now, as the game is 50% off for the rest of today, making it just $15.
