Just a few weeks back, we learned that Kevin Afghani was the actor providing the new voices for both Mario and Luigi. Today, it looks like we’ve gotten confirmation on Afghani tackling yet another big role for Nintendo.
While it’s not much of a surprise, it appears that Kevin Afghani is the voice actor taking on the role of Wario. This information comes from the credits of WarioWare: Move It!, which do list Afghani at the very top. That said, they don’t specifically mention Afghani as Wario, but it seems all but confirmed at this point.
We still aren’t quite sure why Charles Martinet has been moved into the ambassador role for the characters he voiced, but it looks like Afghani is taking up the mantle for all of them. Here’s to a long and storied career for Afghani as he breathes new life into Nintendo’s greats.
