Fashion Week returns to Pokémon GO featuring some snazzy-looking Pokémon

Trainers, get ready for a Pokémon fashion show in Pokémon GO. Shiny Gothita makes its Pokémon GO debut, joined by Dragonite and Wooper wearing fashionable costumes! Fashion Week 2023 kicks off in Pokémon GO Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. and runs to Sunday, November 19, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

New costumed Pokémon will appear during this event!
- Dragonite wearing a fashionable costume
- Wooper wearing a fashionable costume
- Quagsire wearing a fashionable costume
You’ll also be able to encounter costumed Pokémon featured in past Fashion Weeks during this event! You can use 50 Wooper Candy to evolve Wooper wearing a fashionable costume into Quagsire wearing a fashionable costume.
Event bonuses
- Select avatar items will be on sale during Fashion Week.
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- Increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for successfully catching Pokémon.
A Fashion Week–themed Timed Research will be available for $2 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Complete the research tasks to earn encounters with various Pokémon wearing costumes and two Premium Battle Passes!
The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild. Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Gothita—if you’re lucky!

The following Pokémon will hatch from 5 km Eggs. Gothita hatched from Eggs will have a greater chance of being a Shiny Pokémon than Gothita found in the wild.
