All the way back in August of 2020, it was announced that Jonathan Blow’s Braid was going to get a special Anniversary Edition, and that would make its way to Switch. Things have been quiet on the game ever since, but today brings us a bit of a worrying update.

A new trailer has been shared for Braid Anniversary Edition, along with an April 30th, 2024 release date. Unfortunately, that trailer doesn’t include any mention of a Switch version at all. Along with that, in a long thread on X, creator Jonathan Blow also lists the platforms the game is coming to, and Switch is nowhere to be found.

We’ve reached out to Mr. Blow to try and get 100% confirmation on the cancellation of Braid Anniversary Edition on Switch. If/when we get any details, we’ll be sure to update this post.
