Sonic Roll board game announced, due out Jan. 2024

While a new Sonic game has just arrived on Switch in Sonic Superstars, the Blue Blur is far from done dishing out fun. As a matter of fact, Sonic is already set to star in a new game early next year, but this one takes place in the real world rather than digital.

Kess Entertainment has announced that they’re working with SEGA to create Sonic Roll, a “semi-cooperative” board game for one to four players. Players will be able to pick from Sonic, Tails, Amy, or Knuckles, and the goal is to squash Badnicks, complete stages, and of course, take down Eggman.

Unfortunately, the only other thing we know about the game is that it’s set to arrive sometime in January 2024. We should get more details on gameplay specifics and pricing before then, we’ll be sure to share the information once it’s available.
