The latest gaming sales data for the United States have come in, and it gives us a look at how things went down in October of 2023. Let’s kick things off with the top 20 software sales of the month. Please note that Nintendo titles mentioned in the top 20 do not include digital sales, while other titles do.

We also have the total sales in terms of all games, accessories, hardware and more.

Next up, we have the top 10 grossing mobile games of October 2023:

  1. MONOPOLY GO!
  2. Royal Match
  3. Roblox
  4. Candy Crush Saga
  5. Pokémon GO
  6. Coin Master
  7. Jackpot Party – Casino Slots (+2)
  8. Gardenscapes (-1)
  9. Township (+1)
  10. Clash of Clans (+8)

When it comes to hardware, we don’t have actual sales numbers, but we do have stats and placements for the platforms.

  1. PS5 (best-selling in units and dollar sales)
  2. Switch (#2 in units sold, #3 in dollar sales)
  3. Xbox (#3 in units sold, #2 in dollar sales)

Last but not least, we have some stats on the launch of Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

It'll be interesting to see how the PS5 performs from November onwards now with their slim model out there.

Seriously though, this chart is the way rst. No sale numbers, no idea what dollar sales mean and on top of that Nintendo refuses to reveal digital sales otherwise wonder would have topped the charts by now.

Yeah it sucks that Nintendo wont release numbers for digital sales. Pretty sure Wonder is killing it there too. Digital sales are on a record high and the Switch being a hybrid did push some people to go more digital after all.
