The Smurfs: Learn and Play is available for purchase now on Nintendo Switch! RedDeer.Games, one of the biggest independent game developers and publishers, have just released a game aimed at younger audience, and brought the familiar fairytale world onto the portable console. The Smurfs: Learn and Play revolves around finding lost objects, letters, and numbers.
Helping the village of the Smurfs with their lost shoes, mops and other items is key. The Smurfs will happily teach the player about quite a few things in return – isn’t this what friendship is about?
The Smurfs: Learn and Play lets kids analyze different pictures – it builds focus and attention to detail. There is a number of objects hidden in each illustration – and some are quite a challenge to find! The game has a few other modes for kids; pairing up a Smurf and their shadow, learning how to read a clock, and getting to know letters.
The game itself is bright and happy, with easy-to-follow objectives. It manages to keep a good balance between being challenging and fair – especially when it comes to the hidden objects aspect.
In the beginning of December a second game will join its Smurf friends on Nintendo eShop – The Smurfs: Colorful Stories will awaken an artist in every younger player.
