Jackbox shares 'How To Play Jackbox Games' tutorial video

There’s no doubt today marks the beginning of Jackbox season for families and friends around the world. There will be plenty of households sitting down for some Jackbox fun following their Thanksgiving dinner, and with Christmas and more rounding out the end of the year, there’s much more Jackbox love to come.

In order to help out the newcomers to Jackbox, Jackbox Games has put out a special trailer showing just how easy it is to get into a game and have some fun with the ones you loved. You can even follow the steps below to get the party going in a matter of minutes.

1) Purchase a Party Pack from Switch eShop

Only one person in your group needs to own a Jackbox product in order to host the game. The host can buy a party pack from any storefront (like the Switch eShop) and install it.

2) Launch the Party Pack, and hit “play” on a game

Once you hit play, the game will open a lobby room. This room is where you and your players gather before hitting start.

3) Gather your group, whether in-person or remote.

Players can join the lobby room by visiting jackboxgames.tv using the room code on the host’s screen. If you’re playing in person, the host screen should be visible to the whole room. If you’re playing remote, the host can use a screen sharing app like Zoom or Google Meet.

4) Use phones as controllers
