Pokémon Center reveals a slew of new plushes, decorative merch and more
My poor wallet...
We’re always covering what’s next in the world of Pokémon merch, but today is busier than usual, as a trio of new drops have been revealed for Pokémon Center locations in Japan.
First up is the above set of ceramic decorations, which were sculpted in collaboration with Japanese ceramics brand Yakushigama, and based on illustrations by Atsuko Nishida. The lineup includes Rayquaza hugging a Pikachu, and a ceramic bell of a Pikachu hugging a Horsea. These will be available for purchase starting Dec. 2nd, 2023.
Next up, the Pokémon Company has announced their PikaPika Lucky Box 2024, which contains a random assortment of official Pokémon Center products, but at a cheaper price than usual. This Lucky Box will be up for sale starting November 27th, and customers will have until December 3rd, 2023 to lock one it. The Lucky Boxes themselves will ship out before December ends, and each one will include an exclusive cushion of either Sprigatito, Fuecoco, or Quaxly.
Last but not least, we have a plush version of Terapagos, the mascot of Pokémon Scarlet/Violet‘s Indigo Disk DLC. This plush will see release on November 25th, 2023 in Japan. This will be available via Pokémon Center locations, and then through Amazon Japan just a few days later.
